There is no restraint whatsoever in Kaliban's delivery....pure confidence. The sounds behind the voice are club worthy and will make the room sticky quick. There is no shortage of huge beats and claps. The nuances in between will keep you thriving for more. The production quality of this album is top-notch and radio ready. Sounds like gold. Highlights are "Bend Over," soon to be a club anthem and sexy as hell. "World of Fantasy" features a cool sped up tape effect in in between thick beats. "Point Blank Range" is revengeful and intense, with a heavy vocal performance. If you like 2-Pac and Kanye West, you'll enjoy this entertaining CD. (WARNING EXPLICIT LYRICS!)

"Hard" by Rubix Q (Hip-Hop Artist from California(CA))

"Hard" by Rubix Q is funk gangsta rap with a lighter side. It is full of fresh sounds with an "Old School" influence. Lots of classic synths, but done in a way that makes it feel new. There is definitely a heavy R&B influence present throughout the album that creates a nice flowing undertone. Rubix's delivery is slick, with a rough undertone and yet soulful at times. Highlights are "On Fire" with a solid beat, a little wackiness in the vocals and a funktastic bass line."I Wanna Hold You" is a spacey love song that will help turn up the heat in any room. "JB Soul" takes you back in time as Rubix gives you a little James Brown-esque vocals. If you like party music and G-funk, you'll enjoy this one. [WARNING - EXPLICIT MATERIAL]

"Fussin' & Fightin'" by Holly's Hand (Hip-Hop/Rap Artist from Los Angeles, California(CA))

"Fussin' & Fightin'" is the latest single brought to you by Holly's Hand. The song is comprised of a rhythmic poetry delivered by Max and Keeira, as well as a chorus delivered by Keeira and her niece Ayanna. The lyrics preach understanding of societal issues and a hope for change. There is a nice relationship created between the vocalists and a very positive energy in their delivery. The arrangements are reminiscent of "Old-School" hip-hop and create an appropriate sound for the message. Bottom line is the song is fun and intensely political at the same time. Check it out if you enjoy hip-hop with a message or religious rap.
