"HAPPY DAY" by KF-UNIT (Reagge Artist from USA)

The melodic single, "New Born Babe," performed by the terrific group K-FUnit, is a beautiful Reggae song blended with sweet and tender vocals and soft-hearted Rap. This focused four piece group, who originate from Ghana, knows how to weave a poetic melody that is rootsy and filled with sincerity. The lyrics are reflective and will touch your heart with its kind and gentle insights of love. The syncopated beats are hypnotic as the well balanced vocals beam with dreamy and delicate clarity. The Rap vocals are easy flowing as they swirl around the catchy and lighthearted rhythm. This song is well produced as the dreamy instrumentation is finely tuned with relaxing ambiance. If you like Reggae/Rap music that is not overbearing and offer kind words of love, then the song, "New Born Babe," would be a terrific addition to your musical collection.

"Simply Me" by Marian Marie (R&B Artist from Los Angeles)

"Simply Me," by the talented vocalist Marian Marie, is a soulful R&B/Neo-Soul album. Ranging from high tempo beats to slow, flowing harmonies, this is a full album with lots of variety and style. "Let's Talk About Love" recalls the experiences of true, romantic love with a slow and subtle groove. "Should We Try" is a piercing ballad telling of the struggles of love. With harmonious background vocals and a well-experienced piano, this track really stands out. "To Live Another Day" by Warren B. (Rap Artist from Texas(TX))

The newest release from Warren B. is "To Live Another Day" and is an album comprised of hard hitting and high energy Hip-Hop/Rap songs over which Warren B., along with a handful of guests, skillfully lay down their lyrics. "We At War (feat. Tha Dawn & B-shad)" has a consistent building low end and clapping snare that combine to make for a truly bangin' beat, over which we hear an easy flowing Rap rhyme. "Put'em Up (feat. Willie James)" is a raucous number with intense lyrics along with a consistent escalating sound to the beat. "Southwest (feat. B-shad)" is more of a fun number with a bouncing, southern-style, beat to it. This is an album for those who appreciate consistently spirited Hip-Hop/Rap beats and relatively fierce lyrics. Fans of Scarface would thoroughly enjoy the selection of songs on the album "To Live Another Day."

'The Legacy of Hip-Hop & Reggaeton" by Big-J (Hip-Hop Artist from New York City, New York(NY))

"The Legacy of Hip-Hop & Reggaeton," the new CD by rapper Big-J, offers a full repertoire of hip-hop and reggaeton sounds, plus various fusions of both genres with other Latin styles (like salsa). With nineteen original tracks, Big-J gives the listener a taste of what real hip-hop - reminiscent of ODB and Bone Thugs and Harmony, truly is. The opening track, "God Show Me Mercy," speaks of the artist's passion for hip-hop and its effect on his life. The beat is solid and the rhymes are fresh and "in your face." It's the epitome of the concept of the album itself. "Fuego" is a fiery Spanglish reggaeton/hip-hop fusion track which is all about dancing; and given the rhythmic detail and catchy lyrics, it'll definitely get the body movin'. Without giving too much away and ruining the excitement of Big-J's CD, the listener needs to make sure they listen to the album in its entirety; especially the last track.
